So Many People, So Little Time (...or so it seems)
| The Small Business Blog linked to an article over at Inc.com about networking. In the article, the writer says...
"If you're stressed-out because you can't fit in any time for "networking," my advice to you is the following: Don't. That's right. Don't even try to squeeze in extra time. Instead, focus on meeting people more often during the things you already have to do. This way, you can relax and let that "networking time" come to you. This makes great sense. In our rush to overcome time we feel like we have to go outside our abilities to interact when we can do all of that within the boundries of what we are alreadying doing. Seems simple enough, make the contacts either through contacts you already have or get to know the ones that you interact with everyday. There might be something there. There is not enough time to meet everyone. They will come if you network through what you already do... |

post a commentVery true.
Hey, this has nothing to do with this particular post, but I thought I'd pass this on. A few years ago I was thinking about opening up a coffee shop and I came across this website that has a lot of good info specifically on coffee shops. Hopefully it will be of use to you:
