Starbuck's Seeing McD's a Helper

A few weeks back, I posted here about McDonald's getting into the coffee world. Starbucks is now saying that this move will not be threat but a long run help in the future of hight quality coffee. In this article, Starbucks Chairman, Howard Schultz, said this.... "It will be very hard on a national level for existing operators to replicate the look and feel and sensibility that our customers have come to expect from the 'Starbucks experience' we have created inside our stores," Schultz said. " Don't discount the differentiation and position we occupy," he added. Remember how "fast-foodish" Starbucks is become? Maybe they are planning on taking on McDonalds with combo meals and clowns....... ~~be bold (p.s. I will have to say that, although it might appear different, I appriciate what they have done for coffee in the US)
