It's Your Very Own Coffee Hour

Dane over at Business Opportunities Weblog directed me to this post that he published about a coffee happy hour. "This morning Kerwin and I walked into a Prescott Starbucks and both ordered their strong-brew coffee of the day to then find it was free. The barista at the cash register motioned over to a gentleman sitting in an animated discussion with a group of about six others, and said, "Your coffee is on Mr. Perez this morning." This was what Rosa Say wrote about in a post talking about the creative ways to use marketing dollars. We at Cafe Evoke have been talking about the different programs that we hope to offer. (I plan to post a list with descriptions soon). I wish we would have thought of this one! Perez was sponsoring a coffee hour at a local Starbucks which is a perfect way to strike a conversation and get your word out! Is this a new thing that we can do at Cafe Evoke? Gather local businesses to sponsor these events? We will see what we can do! Go read these articles and see how it all works! It is a very interesting concept.
