Featured Program: Without Thought Coffee Program

Another program we hope to create at Cave Evoke is called "Without thought Coffee Program."

Customer will be able to sign up for this program with a credit card or pre-dated checks. We will then deliver coffee to the customer's door weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. We all know how bad it feels to wake up in the morning and find that you are out of coffee. This program will allow people to enjoy Cafe Evoke at home and never miss a morning! We will be able to tailor this delivery based on the normal usage cycle.

I really feel that this will be a good thing for Cafe Evoke. Especially in the cold of winter when people want to make coffee at home, we will be able to be in the front of their thoughts so that when they are out, they will stop by our place. This will also help us get to know our customers better. We will know the type of blend they prefer and also how much the really drink. All of this will go back to what I have talked about many times about which is being a personal cafe, a place where people feel like home.

This seems good but I just have the feeling it wont pan out. I only takes 15 seconds of time to pull the coffee can off the shelf while walking down the grocery store isle you are already walkind down. Now to setup a ordering system, make sure it does not either over deliver or under deliver pay for it, etc etc.

I just dont think many people will find their deathly need for coffee that important to all the extra trouble.

Be carefull you don't stretch yourself too thin by having tons to do - that usually ends up in nothing getting done. The cup night that you once talked about where there would be a different theme and the customer could take the cup home. Even thou the consept is simple it will take lots of time to come up with the themes and to actually find somebody who sells cups you want and all the hassle before you have the cups in your hand. Do you really have the resources to start running around town delivering coffe to your customers?

Thank you for your comments! As far as the first comment, you have to remember that this will be similiar to a "coffee of the month club" in which many people are a part of. I will not pretend to think that all of a person's coffee will come from this program but maybe one bag a month will. There is a big difference in weeks old coffee from the store and buying from any specialty coffee company. Theis is who will be a part of the program.

    Piggy,
The cup nights will take some time to get planned but I think it will be more fun than anything. Have cups made is a simple process once the design is complete and that is something I happen to love doing. We can have a bulk amount of cups printed in less than a week so I'm not to concerned about that part of it. I can see what you are saying about stretching myself to thin however. I will surely need to keep that in mind.

As for the delivery of coffee, this will be done on Fridays and only one day a week. Although the program is not set in stone, I believe we will try and set it up for every two weeks or so. I'm not expecting this to by a huge profit maker rather something that gets our word out more and makes a few dollars in the process. Bozeman is not a big city and I can drive from one end of town to the other in very short amount of time. If the program takes off, we will probably set a grid for delivery similiar to the pizza companies

Thank you again for your comments!
