    "Ten Cool Colleges for Entrepreneurs"

The National Dialogue on Entrepreneurship offered a post about the Ten Cool Colleges for Entrepreneurs. The list includes colleges such as Harvard, University of Texas, and University of Arizona. This list does not include the Babson's or Stanford's. There is one program that caught my eye.
    University of Colorado, Boulder

A leader in "green" entrepreneurship, this program specializes in helping students create companies that are eco-friendly and socially progressive. Leaders of Boulder's organic and natural-products industry offer support.
I think it is great that a school is taking this approach in entrepreneurship. I wrote this post a few weeks ago about business being green and I think schools us the University of Colorado are helping spark this interest.

I have been thinking about heading back to school to get my masters in entrepreneurship (once Cafe Evoke is up and running on it's own power that is) so maybe I will look into getting it from Colorado. By then maybe there will be some online programs that will help me get my masters without having to leave Bozeman for a long period of time. (Although if Belmont did this type of thing, it would be hard not to go back.)

I am excited to see that there is so much evolving around "green" business right now. Small business's are popping up all over the place and the more that have a "green" aspect, the better.

Funny story...the article originally came from Fortune Small Business Magazine http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fsb/fsb_archive/2006/03/01/8370304/index.htm

I was shocked when Babson didn't make the list and emailed the author to learn why. I soon received an apologetic email from the Editor and he then added the first paragraph "Business schools such as Babson (see cover story) and Stanford have long offered many excellent entrepreneurship programs. Here's a sampling of 10 cutting-edge programs for budding entrepreneurs." and changed the title from "Top College for Entrepreneurs" to "10 cool colleges for entreprneeurs"

It was shocking at first but then awesome to see the amazing response from the folks at FSB.

    Hi Dan,

Thanks for leaving that link. In a rush to get that posted, I forgot the footer that gave reference to FSB. With so many schools offering these types of programs now, it is nice to see these types of lists.

    Thanks!
