Update...

We returned home last night from a great time away -- no cell phone and no blogging. We are now back and ready to hit the ground running. We met with our financial planner while we were in Colorado and set the fixed cost budget for the catering gig. Things look great and this week will be filled with setting up accounts, talking with caterers in town, and buying equipment (a trailer, cart, and other stuff). We are also going to begin the process of getting our license and paperwork filled out and turned into the Health Department. This should be relatively easy (compared to everything else we have gone through so far) so we are very excited. We think we can be up and running in a month or so -- due to lead times, etc. on equipment. The new logo is almost done and we will begin working on the website, CafeEvoke.com, to reflect the catering aspect of the business.
