    Who are you Cafe Evoke Catering?


    Did we make a mistake? I have had several people express interest in our services -- through our website, through a few public listings, and some other places -- that ended up saying they thought we did food and that they missed the coffee part. We are calling our operation Cafe Evoke Catering. While I understand that coffee catering is a new thing, I am beginning to think I made a mistake by not calling our business "Cafe Evoke Coffee Catering"?

    Our tag line -- on the website and our ads -- says "bringing a coffee bar to your next event" but people seem to be missing that. While we have only missed 2 or 3 events because of this and we are only getting started, I think I am going to change the way I approach our title and add "coffee" to our name.

    People cannot use your services if they do not know what you do. People will begin to realize what a coffee catering company is and does but it is going to take time and effort on our part. We cannot get down because of a few "canceled" events. It is time to keep pushing and get this business up and going. We have to be consistent with our efforts and keep plugging away.

    I agree with you that you might just need to clarify your services you offer a bit more.

    Maybe its something as simple as replacing "catering" with "coffee bar catering" in some aesthetic manner.

    That way people would know exactly what you offer. Good luck!
