    CoffeeFEST 2006 :: Day 1

    So maybe I should call this "day 0" but that is no matter. Today we arrived in Seattle and got settled in. We made the drive from Bozeman in about 10 hours after lunch, gas stops, and driving around like tourists finding our hotel. Tonight we took it easy. We spent the evening with a friend from Bozeman having drinks and talking coffee and other things.

    While I do not have the plans of making deals and running around with my head cut off like last year, I do plan to get some work done on this short weekend. There are a few classes I will be going to (the list from the other day has been shortened) and a few vendors that I am excited to talk to but I also want to experience coffee culture in this town as well by heading to some local shops.

    I will be writing each day documenting the show and what we got done. This should be a great weekend to get excited and fueled for the future and also give us some good traction for heading back to Bozeman and working on Cafe Evoke Catering.

    Enjoy the conference! I've been away lately with various small conferences too; they are often enjoyable but they force us to drop a lot of other things in the meantime (blogging being one of them). Anyway, have fun and I hope you gather new ideas for your business!
