Report on the Oklahoma Wedding Expo

Last weekend, Cafe Evoke Catering participated in the 2008 Oklahoma Wedding Expo that took place at the Oklahoma State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. We got in at the last minute (as I talked about before) so we somewhat put on a scramble to be a part of it. Those floors are hot, huh? The show went well for us. We had a chance to talk with our friends at Perfect Wedding Guide, Cathy Johnson Weddings, and The Brides of Oklahoma. The show did not showcase as many vendors as we thought it would but it was a fun time all the same. There are a lot of weddings going on in the future and it was amazing to see how many of them are in 2009. Brides are really getting a head start these days which is good for them but makes it hard to get commitments when we are talking about getting contracts out. We had 10 or so solid leads and about that many general follow ups.
