Downtown at the Brownstones
![]() Last night, Evoke teamed up with the 2008 Show House. This is the 35th annual Symphony Designers Show House and Gardens, a project of the Oklahoma City Orchestra League, will feature the new downtown construction of the luxury New York City Brownstones. The event was the first public event of the year for the Show House - a night of wine, great food from top of the line downtown restaurants (and Cafe Evoke Catering), and cool jazz.The event seemed to be a success. The tent was packed and despite the very high temperatures, coffee and espresso were flowing and people had a huge smile on their face. We were happy to be involved. We also were happy to meet new friends of Cafe Evoke Catering: Nonna's, The Melting Pot OKC, and others! We have been watching The Brownstones in progress over the past year or so when we have been visiting to OKC and since we have moved back and the idea is pretty great. They are located at 3rd and Walnut downtown if you have not been able to take a look. There will be four homes on the tour each decorated in a different style and will feature the work of acclaimed designers.
