Well, several days have come and gone in hot Oklahoma City with no word or updates at all about the stolen trailer or all the coffee gear and supplies that we stored inside. At this point, the case is "cold" and should be featured on Cold Case (just a joke) anytime.
No seriously, thank you guys very much for all the help. It was great to see the community come together like that to help us and we really appreciate it. So, at this point, we are getting everything replaced and going through the motions again of learning how to repack our stuff and how to get things rolling at 100%.
We have some awesome events coming up that we will tell you about and will keep you updated on how things are going.
It was great to meet many new people through all of this and always nice to see and talk with old friends. Maybe our gear will show up on eBay or Craig's List at some point - we will just have to see.
LIVE on the Plaza is happening tonight in Oklahoma City's historic Plaza District. Here is what is on tap!
Velvet Monkey Salon will be open and featuring artist Tony Westlund.
DNA Galleries will host artist Billy Reid, whose work explores human emotion through the use of mixed media materials, exuberant textures and fresh color.
Collected Thread will feature artist Lindsay Hall specializing in paper work, journals, photo albums, stationary, and such. She has made some special stuff for for this second Friday, such as some glass lanterns and message boards.
Coffy’s Cafe is rocking an open mic night.
Here is something we're pretty excited about that is happening tonight - the debut of Shop Good at Convergence Collective. Come shop where you know EVERY purchase will benefit a local or global cause impacting communities for good. There will be a wide variety of items for sale and just as wide a variety of beneficiaries, so you’ll get to change the world in a lot of ways just by visiting one store! Women Are Not Weapons, The Spero Project, International Refugees in OKC, and many other groups will be present, and selling items for you to SHOP GOOD!
Other outdoor art booths will be on display and don’t forget to stop by Bad Grannies Bazaar for vintage and funky finds! Cross the street over to PhotoArt Studios for an open house, and then on to Paula & Company Realtors for live music and beverages.
Again, we will have things rocking at 1708 with coffee and some other fun beverages. We will also have some finger food - a simple, fun time to hang out with folks and say hi.

The Plaza District is located on NW 16th between Indiana and Blackwelder Avenues, on street parking and lot parking will be available in the district, while neighborhood parking is available on the north side of the district.
First, Jenni and I wanted to thank everyone who has joined us on the "Twitter" hunt by telling their friends about the situation and keeping a watchful eye out on the streets for our 10 foot silver trailer. We appreciate it! Before I go on, here is a short clip taken today about the heist and what all was taken:
It has been a long 24 hours but we are still making things happen. While the theft put us back quite a bit, it has not shut us down and we wanted to let everyone know that. Cafe Evoke Catering is still here bringing the best in Fair Trade and Organic coffee and espresso drinks to events of all kinds. To our current clients, we will be sure to take care of you - don't worry! For those that have seen the stories on Fox 25 in Oklahoma City or KOCO Channel 5 News and were trying to plan something with coffee, we are still your source! Give us a call and we will set you up!
The twitter response has been unreal and we are pretty blown away that you guys have taken the time and effort to get our word out - rockin! The Facebook community has also helped quite a bit and we could not be happier (under the circumstances). Thank you, too, to all the local coffee companies that have been so generous. It means a lot.
We did want to let everyone know that we are having an "open house" of sorts tomorrow night during the Plaza District's LIVE on the Plaza. Our studio - 1708 - is located in the Plaza and LIVE is the monthly art walk that we have around here. The event is from 7:00 to 11:00 and we will have coffee fired up (we know, we know - we will have iced coffees as well) for everyone. Come out and hang out! We'd love to see everyone and get to know you better.
We will keep you guys updated as we get more information. Here are a few pictures of the coffee bar that was inside the trailer. If you happen to be shopping or see someone setting up shop on the side of the road, let us know or call the police!

This is a great machine with only 10-20 hours of use on it - period! It is great for all sorts of frozen drinks - from adult beverages to fruity drinks for kids.
