We had the opportunity to set up a coffee bar for Yayoi and Patrick a few weekends ago.  The wedding reception was a cross cultural event.  Yayoi’s family came from Japan, Patrick came home from Canada and they had the wedding in Oklahoma City!  Awesome!

When we first started talking about this wedding, we knew we had to blow it out of the water for the out of town guests - especially the brides family from Japan.  So, we began talking about what we could do to really do our tea service the correct way, the culturally correct way.  As we begin researching this, we realized we needed more than what we could provide so we went to our friends at t, an urban teahouse to see what we could put together.  The outcome was amazing!

They ended up going all out for the tea bar just as we do with our coffee service.  5 tea options were selected including a ceremonial offering served by the Bride and Groom to each guest as they entered the reception. Each tea was made to spec and to order (something we LOVE doing with our Pour Over coffee bars!) for each guests in ceramic tea kettles and served in white tea mugs.

The great thing about hooking up with T on this was that they care about their tea as much as we do about our coffee.  The way it went with the specialty coffee bar was perfect.

Around here, we want our service to be all about your event.  The best products, the best service and the best people are all important but if it does not fit perfectly with your event ideas, it’s not perfect. Be creative with your event beverage service - you’ll be happy with the results!
