We have had a great time the past few months hosted some pretty cool stuff here at 1708 to go along with pressed coffee and espresso drinks.  If you have made it to the Plaza District, you have gotten to see live music from Matt Lowery and Emelo and also see great companies like Wishing Well and the product launch for WiseAbe! We are happy to say that this month’s events will be just as good!

We are happy to be hosting the tunes of Blake Fischer! Here is a bit about Blake:

Blake Fischer is a singer/songwriter from Oklahoma City. His pop music is the product of a wide variety of influences, from songwriters like Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Pete Yorn, and Ryan Adams, to bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Counting Crows, and Third Eye Blind.

He is currently recording his first full length album, which is set for release in Spring 2011. Itʼs a collection of 10 songs heʼs written during the last several years since he released his first EP, Short Long-Distance Calls on local indie label Medic Records in 2004. Local musicians/producers Jeff Hall and Mitch Bell are producing the record.
